We are very glad to be worshipping in our newly refurbished building. It gives a warm and welcoming feel to our fellowship. Our school hall is used by various community projects during the week. These include the local gardening club, aerobics, slimming club, dance school and a local amateur dramatic group. During the year the West Midlands blood collecting service use the building for blood donating sessions.

The surrounding area consists of Local Authority housing and owner occupied houses. A new development of 120 new private houses have just been constructed close to the Church, a development which the trustees feel could be a welcome opportunity to seek more members.

The present Church membership is 27 with ages ranging from 40 to 80 years of age. The Sunday school at present has 4 active members. The community role is over 100.

At the moment we hold both morning and evening services - we are joined for our morning service by the Sunday school scholars, who then leave for their own worship in the Sunday school. We enjoy coffee together later. The older congregation attends the evening worship. We are an active congregation with an enthusiastic choir providing music at all the major church events. Three of our congregation are local preachers. We keep in regular touch with all past Sunday School and Church Members by way of a quarterly newsletter. A flower festival is held once a year and we encourage the local community to visit the church socially as well as for our special services.

The Church is very welcoming and glad to see an increase in attendance at Sunday worship. We are approaching an exciting time with the opportunity to welcome new members and reach out to our new neighbours.
